The Board of Directors of the Rural Damascus Chamber of Commerce holds its eleventh session
The Board of Directors of the Rural Damascus Chamber of Commerce held its eleventh regular session on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, chaired by Dr. Abdul Rahim Ziyada, President of the Chamber, in the presence of the Board members.The meeting included: Dr. Imad Adnan Al-Nan, Fadi Al-Hammadi, Samir Amouri, Mahmoud Al-Hajj Hammoud, Mohammed Imad Mawlawi, Firas Shammass, Mohammed Abdel Aal, Mahmoud Arnous, Muhannad Al-Mousli, Anwar Al-Sheikh Qweider, Mazen Kanineh, Thaer Al-Zein, Mashhour Taleb, and Ms. Ruba Abboud.During the session, the Board reviewed several matters related to the Chamber’s activities. The meeting began with the presentation of the March 2026 financial report by the Chamber’s Treasurer, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Hajj Hammoud, which included a detailed breakdown of revenues and expenditures, in line with strengthening financial transparency principles.The Board also approved the annual financial report submitted by the external auditor, Dr. Mohammed Jamal Al-Satl, which included the final balance sheet and all accounts for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The report was approved and submitted to the General Assembly for ratification. The Board also set the date for the annual ordinary General Assembly meeting for next month.Regarding future projects, the Board decided to proceed with licensing procedures and construction works on the Chamber’s allocated plot in Adra Industrial City. It also approved organizing a field visit to the wedding halls in Yabroud and Al-Nabek in preparation for deciding on the investment of the Yabroud hall.
